This really is my last entry. I know I did one last night, but I decided to get rid of it. I think I got my point across because the people that needed to see it, probably did since they are on the net 24/7. Just surprised me that they didn't get their gums flapping.

Anyway, as I said, my domain /blog will be ready in a few days. Maybe even tonight. Once again, the address wil;l be posted on here as soon as it is finished. So check back often. Drugs And Stupidity ..

I didn't realize that it was close to a week since I did a post on here. In any case, here I am now. I got a couple of phone calls this morning from a couple of people telling me of a certain person that passed away this morning. In my area, there was a woman who passed away this morning at the age of 38. She was well known in the community, but not in a very good way unfortunately. Her and her live in b/f of many years were known as 2 of the biggest drug dealers in town. From what I am told, she died from a heart attack. She was also known to be a diabetic. Before all of this, their apt. was raided several times and both her and her b/f were waiting trial dates because of the drugs. She has children as well. For the life of me, I could never understand why the children were allowed to remain with her. But that's neither here nor there. The heart problems most likely were caused by the drugs. There is another girl I know as well who was heavy into drugs. She is only 25 years old. She is now on heart pills because her heart is failing. She now weighs about 74 pounds.

You know, this kind of thing is really sad. Why do people want to mess up their lives like that ? It just doesn't make sense to me. The crazy thing is, some of these people think they can continue to do these drugs etc. and they will live a long life. Nothing bad will happen to them. They need to wake up. This is not the movies, this is real life.

Some kids get into this stuff because they are not taught the right from wrongs by their parents. But when you are older, you should know right from wrong. Terry and I sat down with Jordan and had a talk to him about this stuff. Jordan is a good kid and that makes me proud of him. I have never even tried any of that crap and I never would. If I ever found out any of my family were into that, they would be out the door quicker than they came in. If anyone ever told me my kids were into that stuff, they would have to show me the proof as well. Then I would deal with it from there. A lot of parents need to take more time to sit down and talk to their kids about things like this before it is too late.

On to a brighter note, the weather here has been great so far. Makes me scared to think of what our summer will be like. I am going to be going through some major changes in my life as well. But enough said about that for now.

Thing's To Do..

You know, I really should start a "thing's to do list ". I have so many things racing through my mind at the same time, I really don't know where to start. I didn't get much done here in the house today because it was tied up for the better part of the day. Terry and I bought this house through mortgage 3 years ago. It was our first house, we were also in kind of a rush to get out of the place we were living in because it was in a very bad location. However, we made the mistake of not getting our own inspector to inspect the place before we closed the deal. But like I said, it was our first house and we just didn't think of it at the time. Our first BIG mistake. Since we have bought the place, we have already put quite a bit of money in the house already. The previous owner supposedly had his inspector to inspect it before we moved in. Well in my opinion, I see a pay off. Because there is no way it would have passed inspection with the condition was in.

Well today we leased a furnace and oil tank. The installers were here almost 5 hours installing the new furnace. Believe me, you could really notice the big change in the heat as soon as it was turned on. The oil tank will be installed probably tomorrow. Those things were the major fault we had with the house. I guess we just have to live and learn. Everything else will fall into place in time. At least we can call it ours and we don't have to go renting which was a pain in the butt.

The past couple of days didn't even seem like winter here. It was more like spring. Then I happened to look out the window this evening and the ground was covered with snow. I didn't even realize it was snowing out at the time. I hate snow... But I really can't complain about this winter so far. It has been really mild.

Back to this "house " issue. Terry and I have some plans to purchase a few major things for this place this year. Including my electric "Fireplace " that I always wanted heh heh. The other things I won't mention right now. I will post pictures when we get them..

I spent some time before over at my domain, working a bit with the wordpress program. I am hoping to have my site up and running soon. If I were able to sit on my butt all day and learn everything there is to know about the program, I would be all done now. But it's just not possible. When I do get my other site running, it is going to be completely different from this. I will have many different things and features on there. Maybe not all at once, but in due time. I will probably add a bit more each day. I decided to take down my movie review blog today. I will start another one up maybe over at the other site. Also, anyone that has my "blinkies and things " site linked, you can remove those links. I am taking that down as well. Oh I am still going to make things for people. It 's just that I am going to do another page with dolls, blinkies, sigs etc etc. and I will take requests there. I will let you know when everything is all finished.

I also haven't been sleeping very well again. I may hit the bed a bit earlier tonight especially since 7.15 comes real early in the morning. Once I get Jordan off to school, I may make a pot of homemade soup and bake some homemade bread,. Then I will get some housework done and then I have an appointment at 3.00. I finished all of my laundry yesterday so that's out of the way.

Hope u all had a great weekend. My weekend was fairly quiet. Terry, Blair, Jordan and I spent 4 hours Saturday night playing Mario Party 7 on the gamecube. That's one of the games Jordan got for Christmas. Well I babbled on long enough. Take care everyone and lots of hugs.

Just before the new year, I had a poll on here where I listed some blogs, and you the readers would vote on the best blog for 2005. Well all the blogs that were listed were all wonderful blogs. However, there could only be one winner. The winner of the blog for 2005 was

Static Brain.. At that point, I decided to make her a well deserved award. Well yesterday, I recieved a comment from her telling me that she had made an award of her own for me. This was totally unexpected to me. I went to her blog and there was her entry along with my award. In her entry, she said the nicest things about me which really touched me. Static, I thank you for that. Here is the award she had made for me.

This was really sweet of static and very thoughtful. This is just one of the things that many of you have done out here for me. Someday soon, I am going to open up a page just to put some of the gifts I have recieved.

I really enjoy making things out here for people and helping anyone out in any way I can. What makes it even more rewarding is that you guys out here appreciate it. It's people like Static, Rosie, Captain, Jim, Dark Roze, Melisa, Doof, Urban Gypsy, Shelby, Mellow, 7One, and so many , many, more, that makes doing this blog all worth it. Hello 2006

It's hard to believe that it is already the year 2006. Where does the time go.? To be honest, I was more than happy to see 2005 go. But however , in that year, I did learn a few things. I learned that some things/people are not worth getting yourself worked up about. No matter how near for far they may be. They are just a waste of time and space and in the end, they will get theirs.

I have also realized that no matter how bad things seem, things will always work out in the end if you have people around that care about you. I think 2006 is going to turn out to be a pretty good year.

I haven't made any New Years resolutions this year, because they never seem to stick. But I have made some decisions. Terry and I will be making a lot of plans for this year.

New Year's here was fairly quiet. At least at my house. But in other parts of my area, there have been a few shootings. Scary stuff. I only live in a small town. But ever since the holidays started, I feel like I am living in a big city. People just seem to be getting more crazy every day. To put it point blank, it is not even safe to keep your door unlocked in the daytime here anymore.

It's pretty well all the drugs that are going around. This is what is causing most of the problems. The sad thing is, most of the incidents that happen, the culprits don't get caught for God knows how long. I worry when Terry is driving to work every day. I even worry, when Jordan is getting out of school. It never used to be that way here. Things have just gotten completely out of hand. Hopefully things will settle down soon.

In other matters, I am looking forward to getting my new domain up and running. Now that the holidays are over, maybe I will get more time to work on it. I am still learning my way around the wordpress program.

Jordan starts back to school tomorrow and he is not looking forward to it. Oh well, school will be out for the summer before you know it. Hope everyone's New Years went well. Take care all. Hugs...

Here I am with my last post of 2005. Before I get into my actual post,

I just want to say the results are in for the "best blog of 2005 ".

In my opinion, all of the blogs that were listed are wonderful blogs.

They are on my daily rounds along with many more which I enjoy reading. The winner of the poll was "Static Brain ". She won with 38% of the votes. Congrats to "Static

In 2006, I will be at my new Domain. Hopefully it will be early 2006. I will probably have more little contests going on like this one.

I was going to do a year in review type thing, but I am lucky if I can remember what happened from one week to the next sometimes, so I doubt I can remember an entire year.

All I can say is 2005 was not the greatest year I have ever had. When Jordan started jr high this year, he ended up having his hand split open which required several stitches from a little accident on the school grounds. I had my name plastered over a blog for about 2 months by a couple of idiotic morons. I was down awhile with a real bad flu that was going around. We had several items stolen from our house by a 13 year old kid. However, we did get the items back. But as you can see, it hasn't been the best year. Don't get me wrong. Some good things have happened as well. It's just that the bad, outweighed the good.

I plan for 2006 to be a lot different. In any case, I hope you all have a very Happy and Safe New Year and I will see you all back here in 2006. Lots of love to you all. Hugggggs.

In my last entry, I mentioned that I was going to do something a little different on here. That something was to have a poll where you readers and bloggers could vote for your favourite blog of 2005. If you look to the side of my page, under my calender, you will notice that the poll is up and running. There are many great blogs out here, but I have only listed six. I listed blogs that I know have been out here for a very long time. There are some blogs that have only been up for a few months, so I couldn't list those. There are also a couple of blogs that I would have liked to list, but they are password protected and not everyone can view them,. I am hoping that a lot of you guys will participate in this poll. I want you to judge the blogs by their writing, entries, imagination , etc. I don't want anyone to place a vote on a blog just because the authour is a friend etc. I want it to be fair. I think it could be fun. Since I created the poll, I am not going to vote. It really wouldn't be fair for me to do that. So with all that said and done, place your votes.

Holiday's...

Well here I am back again . Christmas is over for yet another year. We had a wonderful Christmas here this year. It was the first year in a very long time that I can remember waking up in the morning with the entire family here. Everyone enjoyed their gifts which really made me feel good. Terry and I got Blair the "Ultimate Fighter " season 1 dvd set which we knew he was hoping for real bad. When we gave it to him, you would think that he just won the lottery. lol It made me feel good. We along with Jordan gave him a few other gifts as well. Danny also got him a discman. One of the gifts we gave Danny was a gold chain for his neck that we knew he wanted, along with other gifts as well. Blair gave him the ps2 game (Bulletproof). You will see on Jordan's blog in his new post the things that he got. Danny and Blair each gave him a video game as well. I gave Terry a 10 kt. gold ring, a mini disc player. Jordan gave him a sweater and Jordan and i both gave him a $30.00 restaurant gift certificate. Danny gave him the Batman Anthology dvd set and Blair gave him a hooded sweatshirt and a $30.00 gift certificate as well. Speaking of Terry, he did a new post a few days ago.

As for me, I recieved some wonderful gifts as well. Terry got me a 14 kt. gold family ring. Every one of the stones are genuine. It is georgeous. He also got me one of those Furreal pets I was wanting. They are something like Furby's. Danny and Terry split and got me a 3 cd changer Sony stereo. Blair got me THE OC, SEASON 2 dvd set which I was hoping for. Jordan gave me pajamas.

If I get the chance, I will post a pic of my ring on here in the near future. Jordan was so happy with everything he got. I love seeing the look on his face when he opens his gifts.

I spent a bit more time this evening working on my domain. It has been quite some time since I have done any work on it. I paid for this place for another month. The next payment won't be due until the 21st of Jan. So I am hoping to have my domain ready by then.

Well 2006 is fast approaching. I hope it turns out to be a good year. This past year has been anything but good for me Maybe in a few days , I will do the year in review type thing. I am also going to do something a little different in a day or 2. This past year, I have visited a lot of blogs. A lot of them were great. I am ging to put a poll on here in a day or 2 for you readers to vote on. It will be for the best blog of 2005. Just to do something a little different.

I am going to leave you with a little joke that was on May's (my net sister ) blog today. I know she won't mind that I borrowed it. She is such a sweet lady. I thought this was funny.

It's hard to believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I want to thank you all for the Holiday wishes you have left here. The thing is, I edited my previous post today because I had to add a couple more stockings, and when I did, all my comments disappeared. I also want to thank everyone that has sent cards to my email.; I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and may all your wishes come true. I know things have been real busy for most of us lately. I haven't even had the time to work on my domain for about a week. Hopefully things will be settled down next week. Just thought I would pop in and do a post. Today has been a weird kind of a day for me. I felt fine this morning, but by noon, I was not feeling well at all. I began feeling really sick to my stomach and kind of like I had no energy at all. I really hope I am not coming down with the flu, with Christmas coming up and everything.

Well Terry and I did go to his works Christmas party on Saturday night. We didn't stay that long though. They were serving a turkey supper there and desert . The supper was really good. Blair stayed with Jordan while we were gone. Jordan is only 13 years old so he is still too young to stay at home alone. But it was more like Jordan was babysitting Blair. lol.

I think it's about time Terry did a new post. But he barely gets any time lately. His work has been keeping him very busy. He has even been working on Sunday's the past couple of weeks. He is supposed to have Friday til Monday off this week. But I kind of expect him to get called out to work on Friday.

I forgot to mention that we had another snowstorm last week. But 2 days later, the snow was gone again. Strange weather for this time of year. At least here anyway.

I have decided to remove my video from here tomorrow and put my top 10 video's back. I am really kind of tired of looking at this video. I hope u are all having a great week. I will be back tomorrow. Big hugs to all and take care.

Well I see my counter is well over 10, 000. But what I have decided to do, is make all my blog friends out here a little gift. You guys are great. I luv you all. You always know the right thing to say to make me feel better. I have known most of you since I started blogging on BD. I Have just come into contact with a couple of you over the past month. However, there are 2 people who I have just recently become friends with that I would like to mention. They are Doof and Melisa .. I haven't known you guys for very long, but I am so glad that we have become friends. You both are so sweet and thoughtful. Your tags and comments always bring a smile to my face. So foe everyone else, when u all get a chance drop by their blogs and say hi.

I Am sorry for going off like that in my last post everyone. But I guess there are times we all need to blow off steam a bit. I just get tired of all the crap. People just need to understand that you can't blame someone else for what others do or say. Life just doesn't work that way. A similar situation occured awhile back with the same person. I was dragged into crap that I shouldn't have been. But I am a forgiving person and I don't hold a grudge. But there comes a time where u just have to say "enough is enough ". That time has come. I want no more contact with this person period. I really don't have the time or patience for little hissy fits when things don't go there way,. I'm done with it.

Now I am going to change the subject a little bit. Blair was in the mall last night to pick up a few Christmas things he had on lay-away at Walmart. The stores were completely crazy. But while he was in the lay-away line at Walmart, there was a lady in front of him that was getting her lay-away out as well. Well as it turns out, her lay-away was $ 13000.00 . I couldn't believe it. What would you spend that much money on at Walmart. ? I know if I had that much money, Walmart is not the place I would go to spend it. I wouldn't want to be the one who was standing behind her when she was putting it on lay-away. I would have been in line forever.

It's hard to believe that Christmas is next weekend. I think my favourite part of Christmas is spending it with family and seeing the look on everyone's face when they open their gifts. I try to make the best of the holiday's, but it has really been hard for me the last 5 years. When my mom passed away, and then my dad less than 2 years after that, the holidays just haven't been the same for me.

Every Christmas eve, I would always try to get my mom to open one of her gifts. But she never would. She would always wait until Christmas Day. Now my dad, that was a different story. He was like a kid at Christmas. I would put all of his gifts under the tree than leave the room. I would be out of the room maybe 5 mins or less and I would hear all of the wrapping paper rattling. He would be opening every one of his gifts. I miss them so much. The best Christmas gift I could ever recieve would be to have them back. But I know that isn't going to happen. But I know they are always with me. Well enough about that because I am getting really depressed. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Big hugs to all.

Before I get into my actual post, I want to point out something. I just noticed that my counter is almost at the 10,000 mark. 6 more visitors and it will reach that number. So here is what I am going to do. The sixth person to leave me a tag, will recieve a little gift from me. I will make you something special. It ia my way of saying Thank You for taking the time to read this blog this past year. I have only been talking to some of you the past month or so, but you are just as special to me as everyone else that visits this page.

Now on to a little ranting for the day. Can anyone answer this question ? Since when was it a crime to leave someone an opinion on their post ? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion right ? Believe me, I have had more than my share of nasty ones on here. Also since when was it someone's right to blame a person for someone elses actions. ? If you look to the side on my tagboard, you may get an idea of what I am talking about. Now it's Christmas time. This is not a time for bickering. I have been trying to be nice to everyone. Even people I don't like much. But for some people, the holiday's just seem to bring out the nastiness in some people. Now I don't have time for tagboard foolishness anymore. Been there, done that.If people can't take someone's opinion, then get off the net. That's my opinion. It's things like this that make me glad I am leaving BD and going independent. I just don't need the crap and I am sure no one else does neither.

However, since I am on the subject, there is a few more things I would like to say. There has been something going on at a certain other blog for over a month now, which I have kept quiet about. I thought if I kept quiet, she (this other person ) would somehow get a life and just disappear. Not gonna happen. But I guess I should be flattered that she thinks I am so important to spend so much time talking about me. She refers to me as the person who caused trouble for her over the months.

Now let me see, where do I begin. The person who caused trouble for her over the months. HMMMMM. This coming from the same person who had a part in doing a blog that had my entire families names plastered over it for 2 months. This from a person who had a part in using some very racist remarks. This from a person who left tags for people telling them that i was in trouble with the law one time for using different internet names. hahahahahahahahaha. i THINK THAT ONE WON THE PRIZE."What do we have for her Johnny ?" A free pass to "GET A LIFE ". Here are the names she was referring to : Mary (my first name ), Colleen (my middle name ) Darkangel (my blog name ) So bloggers, beware. you will all do 5 to 10 now for having blog names. Get a grip woman.

See, when I have spare time, i check this morons blog just to see if she is running her mouth about me. Because when someone is not right upstairs, (so to speak ), you can't be too sure. I just want to be left alone by idiots. But they have no lives so what else is there for them to do ? All they do is sit on their a** all day and play on the net. I would hate to see what their house looks like. . A house doesn't clean itself. But i guess if someonme can't take care of their kids, they can't be expected to take care of a house. So I know this person reads this page. My advice to you is to keep your damn mouth shut.Do your blog and don't worry about what I am doing.I haven't talked about you, I haven't contacted you, etc. etc. I don't need no damn crazy woman stalking me. Don't go away mad, JUST GO AWAY !!!!

Well I have wasted enough time on that thing. In any case, it seems like all hell has been breaking loose every way I turn this week. I remember last Christmas was kind of the same. This entire week has been a complete disaster. Terry's Christmas party for work is tomorrow night and at this point, I am not even sure if I am going. To be honest, I would rather just stay home. I am a very stubborn person. When I put my mind to something, I usually do it. I also have a very bad temper when I am pushed. Maybe it's just all the Christmas rush that has got me down. Christmas Rush !!!

I guess by now everyone is getting into the Christmas rush. I meant to do a post a few days ago, but just didn't get around to it. Trying to get all of the last minute things taken care of. Terry hasn't been ablet to get much of anything done yet. He has been reakl busy with work.His work is having their Christmas party on Saturday night. I am not really keen on going because I don't really like going to something where I don't know anyone. That's just me. But we are going to go for a bit anyway. However, they are serving a turkey dinner that night. Terry even had to work last Sunday from 8 am til 6 pm. Things get real crazy this time of year.

I did manage to do a bit of work on my domain a few days ago. Not as much as I would have liked, but I just don't have much time. I would limke nothing better than to just be able to sit on my a** all day and work on it, but when you have responsibilities, you just can't do that. I am trying to learn my way around wordpress which is what I am using for my new blog. The last time I had a domain, I used B2 revolution. I just didn't like that program. A real pain in the butt.

I mentioned in my last post about the snowstorm we had. Well a day or 2 later, we had bit of a rain storm which washed away all the snow. It has been raining, but really milsd here for the past few days.

Another Birthday...

First of all, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Well there is once again another birthday out here on BD . She is also someone who has been a great friend to me out here for quite some time. Happy Birthday Darkroze. May all your wishes come true. I made a special surprise for her so click HERE and leave her a tag with some birthday wishes.

In other matters, we had our first snow storm of the year last night. I woke up this morning, and the ground was covered,. UGH !!! Now I know a lot of people would love to have it because in some places, they don't get snow. Well , believe me, if I could, I would pack it all up and send it your way. I simply hate it.

I see BD has made some changes out here. For the better I might add. Maybe I will still keep this page as a seperate little blog, but I am not going to pay for it anymore. Well, I am off for now. I may be back tonight with another post.

Official...

Well, it's official.. I now have my own Domain once again , along with my own hosting package, plus a few other little advantages. It will probably take me a little while to find my way through it all, but it will be worth it. I have had my own domain and hosting package before, but it didn't have near the advantages as this one. I won't be officially opening it until the new year. But when the day comes for my last post out here on BD, I have a lot to get off my chest.

I have been out here on BD, for just about a year. I started sometime after the new year of this year. I have tried several other blogging places, but BD was the one I was most comfortable with. That was until certain things started going on out here. I have met some of the greatest people out here. I have also met some wacko's. I guess calling them wacko's is really an understatement. But it's all good I guess. I have been seeing some things happen lately and as the saying goes, "what goes around , comes around. "

I have to admit, this past year hasn't been the greatest. I have had better. I have let things get to me when I shouldn't have. But there are some things that you just can't let people get away with.

Anyway, on my new domain etc, things will be a lot different. To the wonderful people I have come into contact with, I will have you all linked on my new page. I don't forget about my friends. Some of you have become like family to me. I will always be around to help any of you when needed. As soon as my new page is ready, I will give you all the address to it.

I notice that my counter is almost hitting the 10,000 mark. That's what I like about the bravenet counters. You can set them as to where they don't count your own visits or hits. That way, your visitor count is accurate. You know just how many visitors you are getting. Hopefully, it will hit the 10,000 mark before my last post on here. I think it will.

When I get the chance, I will post some pics on here of our tree, decorations etc. We even took 2 seperate pics of our cats with a santa hat on. Not really sure if they liked it very much.

The weather has gotten a lot colder here now. I hate the cold weather, and I hate winter. Finally have all my Christmas shopping done. Well almost. I only have 2 more gifts left to buy. Festive Look ...

Well I finally decided to give my page a bit of a festive look. I had planned awhile ago to put more into it, but that was before BD started to be a royal pain in the butt. But anyhow, I did manage to put a few things on here as you can see. I even added somewhat of a Christmas video. We are supposed to be putting the tree and the rest of the decorations up tomorrow. I can't believe that Christmas is only 3 weeks away.
